I have both a Yamaha Expression pedal and a technics Expression pedal. Can either be used with this new E 80 or do I have to buy yet another expression Pedal?
I don't want to plug in one of the two I have and blow up a circuit board
Thanks for your reply

Try them,,you won't hurt anything..I think I recall using an old Yamaha expression pedal with Roland, but the EV-5 is compact and so smooth..

Contact your local dealer, as he should be able to tell you what works with what.
Hope this helps

MY local dealer is a piano and organ retailer and doesn't even know how to turn on or demo an E 80.

The EV-5 is ok, but if you are an organ player, or plan to use the Hammond section a bunch, you might like to try the EV-7. It's a lot more expensive, but it has a similar throw to a B3 volume pedal, and can make a difference with your organ playing....

BEBOP, the yam pedal DOES NOT work w/the newer Rolands, unlike earlier models-- you need to get the ev-5. I got burned on this too, and the ev-5 is flimsy, way overpriced and not anywhere near the quality of the big yammy pedal. sorry to be the bearer of bad news... Mo

Well, than can I just change the polarity on this pedal and use it?

INFO:
I just plugged the Yam FC7 expression pedal into the E 80 and it works great without problem.
I tried the technics expression pedal and it worked the opposite of what it should so I would have to change the polarity to make it louder when I push down on it.
but the Yam pedal works great.
