Rumors about this machine are all over the web..

I got a chance today to play a Phantom G 88
and a V-synth GT....sounds are near to perfect.. The interface and screen work good too

So basically ROland should just cramp both instruments intoo one machine add an improved arranger of the same level and add the option to add vst's (or directly controll vsts on a remote machine)
With prices on the level of Korg Oasys this would be a sweet "dream" machine.

A dream to play, maybe. A nightmare to afford...

Does anyone remember what happened to the home organ market, after it priced itself out of affordability? Yep, that's right... you are playing one now. Arrangers, affordable alternatives to the organ took over, pretty much completely.

Push arrangers in general into that stratosphere of price, and you'll see exactly the same thing. Let's face it, Oasys's are not exactly flying off the shelves, are they?

Nope oasyses are not fl;ying around, but when a lot of people buy a Korg they think about the Oasys quallity when they buy it...As long as there are affordable near to profi keyboards like the PSR S900 or the Korg PA 500 two or three very expensive models won't crsh the market.

But then i don't think we will ever see such a machine from roland as they'd prefer to sell every single sound in its own hardware box....

Now thats the typicall Roland mentallity..
