Hi Group,

My new T2 arrived yesterday.

Does anyone know if the Music Finder files (setups) from 3K will work on T2. I copied files from 3K to thumb drive but when I tried to append Muisic Finder on T2 the message said "could not use this file"

Is this correct? OR did I do something wrong??

There are many setups from 3K that do not seem to be on T2. i.e. Song Titles are different. Very disappointing!

Can someone help?

Thaks,
Don P.

Hi Don

Don't give up after 24hrs. It's a great keyboard and there's tons of help available. If you want to update your music finder files with non- cryptic titles go to
http://www.yamahapkowner.com/article_musicfinderupdates.php

Cheers

John

Michael Bedseem has done a number of prgrams relating to Yamaha on http://svpworld.com/tools.htm There's a program MUSIC FINDER VIEW which will view and convert if needed MDF files.

Thanks Guys,

John, I was able to download the Music Finder file with the real names from the Yamaha pk owners.

Graham, I'm not sure what a MDF file is. With Michael Bedseem's program could I convert a psr 3K music finder file to T2 if I wanted??

Regards,
Don
