Somehow...I've done something that anytime the ACMP button is activated I get a combination bass/string sound in the lowest register of my T2.

I don't want this...I want to return to what ever voice I have selected is what I hear on all keys. I was making some adjustments on the master EQ and then noticed this new "thing" going on.

I even tried a factory reset...and it didn't fix it.

Bass \ String is what you get by default when the ACC is not running. This mutes when you start the ACC which then enables you to select a siutable lower voice if you want one.
Check you split point is set to your requirements.
