I played the Tryos 2 and it sounds great but I did notice that the drums seem to be either a little lacking or too low in the mix,

Can the Tyros 2 be set-up so that the drums and percussion come out of a sub output. And also will the drums that come out of that output still have the effects on them?

I remember the Tyros 1 would lose the effects when this was done.

I have my drums always go out the subs 1&2 for recording.

To do so:
1. Mixing console
2. Line out tab
3. F button (drums and percussion) then check them all to go out where you want them to.

That's correct. My suggestion would be to add effects after if you are recording. If live use an effects unit outboard.
