Hi.
Can anybody tell me if there is a way of converting MC-50 files so that they can be read in a standard midi file player? Thanks in advance,

Colin.

I don't own a mc-50 but you might have a look here.
It does convert almost any format known.

Thanks freddynl.

I've contacted the manufacturers and they're not sure either. It seems what I need is an application called MRM-500.

Colin, that software was used with the older MC300 and MC500 sequencers. The MC50mark2 was the updated sequencer that replaced the MC50. This unit was able to read/write SMF.. I have the software that was specified. I will look through my files and email it to you when I get a chance..Fran

Colin, I found the software but was not able to email it or to even make a copy[windows can not read it] Any suggestions other then postal mailing my software[floppy] to Colin[If you are in a pinch I will mail it to you, as a loaner]..

If you do want this software it can be found at http://members.ozemail.com.au/~uws/mc2smf.htm but as Fran mentioned this is intended for the MC-300 and MC-500.
