Some of us older people might enjoy this virtual interactive GUI of the Mighty Wuritzer. http://www.virtualorgan.com/Default.asp?Page=72 Follow the link, then go to getting started to download free. It immediately plays with computer mouse, but the real fun starts when you connect midi keyboards to it. I have channel one(solo),attached now with a little Oxygen8 controller. I will put another on ch2(accompiniment), and ch3(bass pedals). It is all rather amazing,

The program has been out for quite some time, (With small improvements added) and used to be demonstrated at the UK keyboard festivals, although it seems to have dropped out of favour these days. Its 2 main problems are that it is a stand alone program, (Not a VST) and therefore is difficult to integrate with other programs and controllers, and secondly it uses soundfonts, which being old technology means that all the other modern theatre organ samples on the market leave it for dead. If it was converted to a VST and could import other samples I am sure it would do well, but for the present I am afraid it’s Nice Try but Could Do Better.

Hi Jerry I have three keyboards hooked up(ch 1,2,3). I had no problems with one, but now #3 is giving me stuck notes, and the tabs won't stay on very long. Also, it won't load a combo from a saved . I put it on the forum: http://virtualorgan.com/forum/active_topics.asp I am sure it is my setup. Otherwise, it has great promise, once I get the wrinkles out. Bernie

Jerry
I just downloaded an update(0.714) from the website that fixes this, and has other improvements. http://virtualorgan.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=477&KW=0%2E714
