"Though I've got a Namm 2011 entrance badge reserved for me, I've decided to opt out this year because, on top of the long travel distance (360+ miles x 2) I've just recently upgraded to Tyros 4 . Interestingly enough, the most enjoyable thing about Namm for me (2nd to getting that 1st peek at new gear) is re-connecting with old friends & associates (both manufacturer/dealer reps & musician buds), so will miss seeing Peter Baartmans & Martin Harris, Simon Inkly, Mark Anderson, and SZ buds Frank, Tapas, Manuel, AJ, etc. That said, Tapas promised to keep me 'up to the minute' updated (via cellphone) and also be shooting video with his new Canon MP30 vidcam too. I'm especially excited to see & hear what new arranger Korg's going to be showcasing, as I definitely haven't ruled out getting it eventually. Man, I love how this new technology gives us all the convenience to be virtually anyplace, anywhere, and instantly live. "

Hi Bebop, unfortunately I'm not able to allocate enough time to make that long drive (360 x 2 miles), so taking a pass this year. That said, Synthzone buddies Frankieve & Tapas are both attending (Jan 13-16), and Tapas has promised to keep me posted live from the showroom floor of any breaking developments. Man, with the internet & live vidcam, it's amazing how we can be virtually anyplace live. Gotta love that. It's definitely shaping up to be an exciting Namm show, especially in the arranger keyboard dept: Yamaha Tyros 4, the highly anticipated Korg Pa3X(?), and Casio WK7500. btw: Does anybody know if Lionstracs's got a booth this time?

I haven't had a korg for a lot of years. Looks interesting to me. Who do I know that is going to be selling them on the West coast?
