I think the new layout and new features are quite nice by the way. smile I'm still getting used to it but I really like the addition of the new Preview post feature a whole bunch and the ability to use a photo or avatar.

I wanted to mention though that it lists my registered sign up date on the Synthzone as October 27, 2003 which is incorrect. I was posting here back in 2001 if I'm not mistaken. The PSR 2000 came out in 2001 right? I bought my PSR 2000 in 2001 and I was posting on Synthzone when I got it.

I know Nigel had the BIG Server crash sometime around that time and EVERYTHING got wiped out so maybe Nigel doesn't have record of my information prior to the crash I dunno. But I distinctly remember being a member in 2001 or perhaps even earlier.

No biggie though. I just wanted to mention it to the Boss. wink Maybe I'm the only one affected I dunno.

Again, nice work on the new layout and added features Nigel. cool It looks really nice!

All the best,
Mike

You're not alone. I was not as frequently poster back then due to another "Technics" fora was quite active.
Myself, I also had another username that I don't manage to remember anymore. Had to register as new after the "Big Bang", but hey, we'll take it back in the other end, we'll last long and still be here for ages to come. wink laugh

I'm so pleased you are all enjoying the new format. I did a lot of research before making the decision to change over to this software. I liked the features it offered but more important was that it was able to import all the posts and member records from the old forum. Actually UBB threads was the only system capable of importing the old forum so the decision became very easy for me. I really can't see there has been any downside at all. Our history has been preserved and that is what really mattered to me.
