I have a s900. I was thinking of upgrading to s910
But should I rather wait for its replacement which
Should be almost a tyros 3 ?

Well you should be able to find a Tyros 3 second hand at a good price now the Tyros 4 is out.

Unfortunately a tyros 3 costs $7000 and
A tyros 4 costs $8500 in my country. I
Paid $2000 for my s900 2 years ago. I can
Get a new s910 for $2200. Its quiet pricey
In south africa compared to usa. Now a s910
Replacement would be not too badly priced

It is rumored that they will show the new S series at Musicmesse, coming up in a couple of months. Hope so!

Even if they do show it at Musicmesse, I suppose it will be several months before it's available. Such a delay bugs me!

Wow,I see I'm not alone here. In my country there are no Tyros and if you order one you pay more than twice its price. I also have a Psr s900 the "top of the line arranger" here which I paid Us$ 2,400 in 2009 and I may be one of the few owners since there are not used ones on sale on our local "e Bay". No Psr s910 that I know yet.
Some people don't know that coming to this forum is like watching the crystal ball to see what I could get in the next 2 to 3 years if I'm lucky enough. It's like watching the Tyros 6 and not being able to get that tecnhnology until 2014. On the other hand Korg is much better on that matter, the Pa2x is on sale at Us$5000 and the Kronos WS is on its way here.

At this stage I would not trade a Psr s900 for a Psr s910 unless I got a very special offer, I'd wait even 2 years for the next generation S series.
