I still enjoy playing my KN5000 alongside my KN7000. However, I just realised that my KN5000 screen is no longer as bright and clear as it has always been. I try using the contrast slider/adjuster beside it, yet I find that the screen is darker than it has been - with the information on it no longer very clear. I have to struggle to read the screen.

Please is there anything I can do to fix this and get the screen show brighter and clearer information. I need help with this.

Thanks all for your help.

Buddy

Please could Bill Norrie or Jonny Gunnar come to our aid on this. If any other SZ forum member has a suggestion that will help to resolve this, it will be greatly appreciated. Thanks all.

Sounds like the LED light or lights are out. The 5000 has been around for awhile and everything, including me wear out

I think Larry's right - if the contrast adjustment doesn't solve it...

I would contact a specialist keyboard technician regarding the cost of a replacement screen or a quote for looking at it.
If the contrast control does not help, you have to look deeper.
Best of Luck bazz3

Hi,

Press the button "Customize" then wallpaper and change preset "Water " to Dark Blue.

Please see page 181-186 of the manual.

Greetings
