just wanted to ask if a bigger(capacity) hdd can be installed in the midjay, and if so is it the desktop PC size or a laptop size?

Miden,

You can hold up to 80GB (with OS 3.0 or higher).
Laptop size HD is what you'll need.

Is there a limit on the number of folders? On the Vega you can only create 99 folders and no subfolders.
