HI:
All of a sudden I can't lower Tempos on
about 5 of the Latin Pats on my X1. For
example Pat 32B (Cha Cha) which starts out at
130 BPM can only be lowered to 110 BPM. All
other Pats can be lowered to 40 BPM.
Can anyone help me ???
Thanks: Bruce

those rythms who use groove on it with live drums, can't change the tempo only in a certain range. after that, sounds are note synchro with the tempo ) thy prefer to forbid us to down the tempo...

I'm afraid there's no solution. The reason for the limit in the tempo of a certain style (particularly latin styles) is that under a certain threshold, the groove (drum) track would start to sound strange. I think that in newer Ketron machines the grooves were resampled (?) to accomodate the possibility of playing certain styles at slower tempos.

Thanks for the help. I thought my X1
was getting too old to do the Cha Cha.

But we could use a software upgrade, couldn't we?
