I'm trying to incorporate my Nord E3 into a setup for certain larger, more specific jobs and I need a second kb to do this. My pa800 is deep and large ... trying to see if I can do it smaller.

My needs are:
1) must have speakers
2) must have stereo audio input (for the nord)
3) must have better than average drum patterns and sounds
*** arranger capabilities are least important, but a good bass tone would be a plus.

Anyone have a suggestion? Please don't google stuff or look up links for me - done that. I want hands on experience from users with opinions, thanx!

Not sure this quest is doable, but I'm searchin!

I run an Alesis Fusion and a Vocalist VL3D into a Korg PA500 with good results, and it reads all the korg styles.

Hmmmm, almost forgot about the PA500 because of it's inability to play MP3 files, but that's no longer an issue in this setup. Thanx.
Fran ..... you shoulda hit me BEFORE you sold the Prelude to Joanne!

Uncle Dave, you might laugh at this suggestion, but how about a Casio CTK3000 - sterio mini audio in speakers, etc only 8.6 lbs which is smaller and way lighter than the CTK7000. Only hassle is the 2watt speakers, would be a let down, but cheap option. Just a thought.

If you can find a Roland E50, it would work great.
Also, you might consider the new Roland BK7m module.
