Lee, I have had no problems at all since upgrading. Perhaps Scott Yee could share his experience, as he also has a Tyros4. How's it going with you Lee...getting a PA3X, or are you discouraged like the rest who have heard the demos so far? The price seems good, but what good is a decent price, if the instrument is not sounding how you'd want it to sound? What about a Tyros4...any closer with a decision? I am simply loving mine...it's the best Yamaha has made, by far...superb sound, and a real joy to play. Ian

The #3 and #4 have not been problems for me...perhaps they are for others...I haven't checked them out very much, as I don't use that stuff for my work...maybe Scott, or SteveM, can elaborate on their experiences
If you like big orchestral sounds, with authentic voices, you'll be hard pressed to find anything that outshines the Tyros4.
I haven't heard any other arranger do this type of music any better, and from what I've heard from the PA2Xpro, it simply doesn't have the goods.
If the PA3X isn't a lot different, I'm afraid we'll have the same results.
I have a feeling you'll end up with a Tyros4...and you won't regret it.
Ian
