I had a phone call from a friend a few minutes ago, who runs a music store in North Carolina. He said he had taken a KN7000 in on a trade for a new Korg. I have no idea what his price will be, but if you are interested get in touch with me by email and I'll give you contact info for you to contact him. (He does not use email.) I already have two 7000's and don't need another.

Hello Bob,

Or in fact anyone in the US. I would be interested as to what a KN7000 in 'as new' condition would sell for there.

The second user market here in UK seems to value them at about the same price as a Tyros 2 (rapidly depreciating!), and the KN 7000, because of its increasing scarcity seems to be appreciating!!

6 months ago you could buy a KN7000 for 7-800 GB Pounds (1000 - 1200 USD), and now they are selling between 800 - 1000 GB Pounds (12-1500 US Dollars). Most musicians I know, even with Top of the Range Keyboards of other makes, are hanging on to their KN7000's, and most with KN7000 as their main Keyboard now have two of them !!

BTW, I think I lived fairly near to you, 1984 - 94, when I worked (At Twitty City) and lived in Hendersonville.

Kind regards,

John

I don't know what the price is for the KN7000 in North Carolina. Just passing on the fact that it is available.

If you are talking about Hendersonville, North Carolina, that is where the KN7000 is. I live about 80 miles from there in Northeast Tennessee.

Thanks for the reply, Bob,

I knew it was close, as I lived there for 10 years before returning to UK, with my (then) recently married American wife! (See her H E R E )

I can't remember a Music Store in Hendersonville, up to 1994 when I returned to UK, as I used to travel into Nashville to buy my 'Bits and Bobs'. At that time I was playing a Yamaha FX20 Organ.

Regards,

John
