Casio is on it's way up for sure. I like the key feel much better than the PSR series, but the drums and OS are way behind the pack. For the money - they are a stellar value and the sounds are very good. One big drawback is the organ drawbars ... you cannot change their value while a note is held down without hearing each increment re attack the sound.(not the way a conventional tone bar works) makes it impossible to get excited about the bars at all. If you preset it, you won't hear the noise, but if you like to change sounds on the fly .... it's a deal breaker.
Seems like the 7000 is an exact clone in sound structure, but $100 cheaper and 61 keys in a smaller package.
Didn't get to try the mic input, but the Rhodes sound I liked was almost maxing out the headroom anyway, so I wasn't excited about hooking up a mic.
Looks like a great bang for the buck for the casual user or as a really lightweight backup or recording tool, but I'd miss too many things if I tried to bring one to work.
