Hi AJ

I'm thinking about buy a 2.nd hand SD1, and wonder if you
still have the extended manual available?
Maybe that would be a help, cause I really have hard time
when try manage the menues/OS and how it work.
To select a onboard style and sound is no problem, but it's
all the rest........
Also I would like to know how to format the HD and update to
newest (from 3.0C) OS in the most easy and secure way.

So another question. The guy who ovn the SD1 now have bought
a new SD5, and he is trying to get the "jump" function to act
like it does on SD1. I.e. when playing and j-button pressed,
hit intro 1 you can get it act like a fill/bridge, but on SD5
it jumps between variations or stright to ending.
Is there a trick to make it work like SD1 and like the manual
says?

Thanks for your help.

Happy Playing
GJ

Send me an email at axa130@hotmail.com and I can help you further.

The jump feature on the SD5 needs to be assigned (LEFT MENU).

Thanks,

AJ

PS: Also have a used SD1 PLUS EXP for sale at a good price.

Thanks a lot AJ, I will email you.
Btw, my friend used the SD5 at a gig for the first time this weekend, and
he is smiling from ear to ear.
He'll sure be happy when find out how to assign the jumpfunction to work
like it use to on SD1.

Yeah Fran, I'm writing some words now and then just to check out that my
username and password still works.... (Reading almost every day)
Maybe the activity will increase when add another kboard to my good old KN.
You take good care too.

NO Rikki, not moving on from Technics, but adding a new toy or two. Ketron
has always sounded good in my ears, terrific styles and it plays like a live
band. Not to forget about the quality keybed and feeling when play.
Hopefully Ketron "steal" a lot of Technics easiness and userfriendlyness
regarding to operate the OS in the next generation SD1.
I'm also looking at Roland G70, so we'll see what happens.

Happy Playing (X-Mas songs I guess?)

Btw, I've been looking at SD1 some years ago when it was brand new,
funny to find this old post when search around: http://www.synthzone.com/ubbs/Forum37/HTML/001755.html

Hi AJ

I've sendt you a mail as you suggested, but I wonder if you did finish
the SD1 extended manual some years ago, and if it's still available?

Cheers

Gunnar Jonny

I am not sure I got your email (at axa130@hotmail.com - make the subject = Sd1 Purchase from Gunnar Jonny from the SZ).

Yep, I will include the extended "Quick Guide, Hints and Tips Manual" in your purchase. I didn't do this for the SD5 as it is now included in the full factory manual.

Thanks,

AJ
