In spite of the fact that he's a friend of MASON, Bill Pittman is
a fine fellow and friend.

He recently bought a Guild guitar from me. Guitars are special to me, and Bill realized that. He's the only one I would have sold it to, and he'll play it the way it is intended to be played.

OMG Russ is a typical guitar player ... no wonder we get such a bad name .... just kidding Russ.

Hey Russ did you see Return To Forever are using an Australian guitarist on their 2011 tour. They have Frank Gambale on guitar along with Jean Luc Ponty on violin. Sounds like a great lineup but no US dates yet.



I first saw Jean live in the early 70s playing with Frank Zappa and The Mothers Of Invention ( Apostrophe Tour ).

I also saw him in recent years playing with Al Dimeola and Stanely Clarke in Rite Of Strings.


OMG I love jazz fusion more than anything else. It always excites and inspires me. Hey anyone is welcome to argue this point with me ... but I will simply ignore you lol.

My friend Zak Brock from here in Lexington played several jobs in NYC last year with Return to Forever. Great jazz violinist (played the Ponty parts).

Fusion is my thing, too, Nigel.
