having had the Midjay for a few days now, i have come up with a couple of things for the future..perhaps others would like to add to this for the benefit of Ketron, who MAY???check this forum from time to time...
1.USB midi support...ie to be able to tx/rx midi from a PC via USB
2.pedal sockets, in addition to the proprietary Ketron socket for their multi pedal
3.PC editing software, (not for styles, although a Ketron designed one would be good and prob cheaper than EMC), i am talking more about software to setup registrations and tweak voices etc etc
4.midi activity LED
well thats it for now, i am sure others will have some ideas for the next? Op SYS upgrade..
cheers

Hi Dennis,
I was under the impressionthat the connection midijay to pc was via USB??? or are you reffering to something different. ??

hi rikki,
the USB connection is only for the transferring of files to/from Midjay HDD...it does nothing else.
cheers

Hi AJ,
Do you mean we can connect a usb controller w/o using external power? That will be great. When do you think the new O.S. will be ready?
Thanks,
Jim
