GREAT videos! Loved especially #6 (Girl from Ipanema/Half a minute), but Route 66 was very enjoyable as well. dance
Would love to hear more from the same trio.

Great video. The audya and singer sounded fantastic to me. I think the Guitarist takes from the performance though. They didn't need him.

James.

Kudos to Ketron for the nice videos.

As far as I can remember, is the first time that an arranger manufacturing company do a demo of one of their products with a live trio.
Most of the demo videos are base solo perfomances.

Welcome to the change !!!

I just don't know how anyone can sit on top of the drums like that... There's no way in hell a real drummer would have sat still for being swamped out like that three did (well, the girl was OK in the mix), he'd have just started laying into the drums harder!

There's a real art to playing 'within' a mix rather than on top of it. I hear very few that succeed. You really have to play by braille to a certain extent. Most of the time, if you can hear yourself WELL, you are just plain to damn loud!

These guys should have done 'Take 1', listened to the mix, and made adjustments. It's a shame, because the strength of Ketron's is those drums. Swamping them and relegating them to the background negates their value.

'Take two, guys'....

LIVE demos, from a very LIVE sounding keyboard

i wish MORE manufacturers did this as well.
others like to "polish" things in the studio first :-)

great job, showing it off in a LIVE situation, the way most Arrangers are actually used....

way to go !!!
