My question.
The manual states that keys 17-24 can be used to bring up voices that have been loaded as .wav files.

I can't get this to work on my X1.

Do I need additional (optional) storage to do this? The manual is not very clear on this subject.

Make sure these voices are loaded into RAM first before accessing them.

Whenever you load a voice, these voices occupy positions 17-24 (voice buttons A-H). With the RAM/(FLASH if using a card) button pressed, you can use these buttons to access the voice; then press keys on the keyboard to hear the voices.
