I've noticed significant latency when playing piano voices, especially the Grand Piano, over a moderately busy pattern. SD1 owners, do you have this problem? Is it part of a polyphony problem with os 4.0?

Is there any fix other than waiting for 4.0b or going back to 3.0c?

New sounds were developed with OS 4.0a and you can only have 4.0 sounds with 4.0 features .

Some SD1 owners prefer the 3.0 sounds vs. 4.0 sounds . But ! you could not use 3.0 sounds with 4.0 new navigation features .

Ketron will release a new OS that will allow 3.0 sounds with 4.0 features very soon. Make sense ?

I would suggest going back to OS 3.0c , unless the 4.0b OS that will be released ( or is relased) by Ketron fixes the latency problem . If OS 4.0b works , this would allow the end user to have what ever sounds they choose ,3.0 sounds or 4.0 sounds. When will 4.0B arrive ? I was told any day now . A list of changes for 4.Ob was sent to the soltonclub from Antonio (Italian Club) . Look for that email . Dan
