no, you can't the only way is only with styles with midi drum, create full styles variation with 2/4 example, then fill will be 2/4. it's a big problem that I asked ketron many many years ago !!

you might be able to do that by hitting the restart button at half bar of the part before the part where u want to half bar fill( it still will be full bar fill, but since u cut the previous bar in half, in effect it works), good example try playing "Desperado" it works for me.

shade, is true, but you must push in perfect time. and often if the style has a audio drum you may have a delay. not good to hear. the same is press restat tempo if not perfetc the listen is not so good. I prefer add 2/4 in the song. you can listen R. messier in the demo song "Easy" add 2/4 tempo to the song. I alway ask to make buttom for restat in time, is not like half fill but restart variation after 2/4 I think is not impossible. (remember roland make it more then 15 years ago

I agree with you , Pastroccio, I would like to see half bar fill/brake option in Audya, too!
My workaround for half bar was a little more complex – I modified the original style to use 2/4 bar. But this solution erased one half of the bar. I did this only for two songs I really like.

I agree with you, but I'm gald to have restart button, Yamaha didn't have them, Korg does. when I did it on Audya5 it wasn't quite smooth as on sd1,
