I have uploaded another song for Paul Blood [aka montunoman]
Paul plays the T-2 , but this recording includes his better half singing 'SUNNY'... with a cool Latino flair.

Paul can elaborate...I'm just a low paid Marketing Manager cool2

Thanks Larry for uploading my music.

On "Sunny" my wife Cynthia is on vocals with her Spanish Language renditon. I'm on Tyros 2 with the Orchestra Cha-Cha style. I overdubed the piano part on the Tyros. Also I'm playing acoustic Latin percussion, and vibes. The tenor sax is by Jason Javis.

I still haven't gotten the mix where I want it (especially with the percussion0 so I guess you could say it's a work in progress.

Thanks for listening!

Very nice Paul, and your wife's singing was very enjoyable also.

Paul was kind enough to give me the cd, it's wonderful, "sunny" and their version of "I will survive" were really good. I had a chance to inviteed him and Cynthia to come up and perform, I remember my bandmates said his solo was kind of jazzy, nice guy, nice couple, good friend

Hi Paul, I don't know how you recorded or mixed it, but your song's audio volume is 'maxed out' (near peak level) throughout. shocked
The resultant audio heard is 'over saturated' & harsh (to my ears) losing whatever subtle 'dynamic expression' there was in the original track recordings.
If you still have the original tracks, it would be nice to hear the result again after a far better remix,
because I think your wife's a nice singer and you an equally impressive player. I've included a JPG image (displayed in SoundForge) of your song:

My thoughts exactly. I think everyone here knows it takes a lot of time to take a tune, arrange it, recorded and upload it. I’m sharing my work with my fellow SZ collogues with the hope of getting some constructive feedback. If any of you feel uncomfortable critiquing my work openly, you can always send me a PM. I am all about improving my craft and would be grateful for your feedback.

I personally feel the music & vocals are fine its the recording mix that needs attention...can you give us a little bit more info in your recording process....maybe that would help a bit more.. there are also many you tube instructional videos on recording & mastering you might want to take a look at....for example...

While I work on 'tuning' "Sunny" have a listen to another song from montunoman.

I made a slight audio adjustment to Paul's recording of 'BESAME MUCHO'

I reduced the overall dynamics and adjusted the volume and equalizer for "SUNNY". Hope it sounds 'less harsh'.
