Please can any Midjay owners here tell me if it displays text files (like my xd9 does) and if it does can these be loaded displayed automatically by calling them the same name as a registration or midi file (like the xd)

Don... Now that you have the SD1, how do you think the Midjay would pair up with it? One one hand, it could be a great combo, but perhaps too much duplication of features?

I think it would be overkill, unless you were doing a lot of MP3s and midifile playing. The Jay does have a more modern file transfer system, but the real-time arranger features are not quite on a par with the SD1. I can't really tell any difference in the sound quality. Don

Yes it can display txt files that have the same name as the file. It will do this for Mid, wav and MP3 files. Pretty cool. I am in the process of inserting the lyrics for all my files, right now.
