I am genetically disposed to hate the Yankees (Philly boy!), but I met Jeter at an airport once, and he is a CLASS ACT. He signed autographs for kids (free), and he talked to anyone who came up. He is indeed the Pride of the Yankees, and now he joins the heavy hitters club too - he deserves it!
I can't wait to beat them (or the Sox) in the World Series this year!
