Tyros : Super styles, SA2 voices

Kronos : Most versatile synth engines, best hardware piano and E-piano's, Karma, 73 piano action keys(73 key version) good computer integration

Cool.
He's using KARMA with Styles on the first video too.

The second is all KRONOS and KARMA. Would be interesting to hear KARMA routed to the T4. Bet that would sound awesome.

Very good setup he's got.

James

Bachus, that was a combination I thought of using (still considering, depending on financial situation), and it is truly a "match made in heaven".

Korg spent much of their R&D on the Kronos and it shows. I think they've raised the bar with this one.

Take one of the best new synths, the Kronos, add the very best arranger keyboard, the Tyros4, and you have pure nirvana.

Just curious, What do the KN7000 and the Solton add to the Tyros?

Strings on Solton are far better than those on either of these boards.

Some voices on KN7 are still superior to Tyros 4 - El Pianos, Oboe, English Horn ( the one in legacy folder, on Tyros4 is a joke). Also some edited voices which sound just the way I want.

I also have many styles on KN7 which are far better than similar offerings on Tyros4 and many more which are for specific songs and won't convert.

Tyros4 is good but the KN7 is still my favourite and better to my ears & for my purposes - if I could use only one board, that would be it. In the meantime I have plenty of choices and a really big sound when I need it.

I will be in heaven when one board can do all that I ask but will probably be there before that happens.

If I was to have the luxury of both Kronos and Tyros4, I wouldn't use the two of them for gigging...the latter does an exceptional job for my needs...the Kronos would be mainly a studio piece.

Carrying two keyboards is just too much work.
