I have to agree with Scott on this one, James...the piano was mixed just fine ( I also used a good set of headphones), in my opinion, and not crowding the vocal at all.
Also, although the piano part was simplistic and a bit repetitive, I believe that was intentional, and very effective...it supported instead of detracting from the vocals, which by the way, were exceptional.
Sometimes less is more...it was in this case.

Just to be sure I didn't miss something while listening the first time on my wife's laptop, I listened to the OP again using my desktop, which is connected to my Logitech Z-5500 5.1 surround-sound system, and then a third listen with my headphones. While the piano sounded softer in nature, the vocals were still overshadowed. I would love to have the original, unmixed version to remix here in the studio. Thanks again for posting, Gary
