Most of you will be aware, I'm having problems with my hands and whilst they are slowly (oh so slowly) getting better, because of the coldness in my fingers, it is difficult to play any keyboard and I have been advised to wear gloves - which does seem to ease the situation.

As the Pegasus Wing keyboard uses a 'touch sensitivity' screen, would wearing gloves prevent the use of it?

An early response to this question would be greatly appreciated?

Thanks in advance.

Audrey

Hi Audrey.

My G-70 are equipped with touch screen, so I found some gloves just to test.
No problem, works great. Looks like it's the touch itself no matter what cause it.

Thank you very much for your quick response Gunnar. It's a relief to know it'll not make much difference. The Wersi guys have been waiting for me to give the "go ahead" for delivery of a Pegas Wing Keyboard and I was reluctant to spend all that money if I am unable to enjoy playing it.

Originally I was told I would need an operation but my own Doctor told me the human body is able to grow another nerve but unfortunately it is a very slow process (about 1mm per day, so it could take several months to completely heal. To be honest, I would rather wait for the healing process as from what I've seen of other people's hands who have had the operation, it isn't alway that successful and some have even had to have it done again because of complications.

As a musician yourself, you will understand I don't want to be out of action for the Christmas Party Season - for me that is the best time of the year. I love Christmastime and all the lovely songs and carols.

Thanks again,

Audrey
