I bought a BK7m earlier this year to go with my Tyros 4. I never did figure out how to easily use the BK7m voices with the Yamaha styles. I did like the Roland styles with the Yamaha SA voices. That seemed easier to play............

I guess I'm a die hard Yamaha fan and just don't have the patience to make them both work together.

I'm selling my BK7m on eBay. Item #260851783482

It's been an interesting experience!! -charley

Charley,

Seen a lot of BK7m around second hand, appears to be the same problem programming like flying the space shuttle, only for a chosen few. The shuttle for sale I believe. Just keep playing the Yamaha.

Love my BK 7m and have no problem using an external controller. Haven't tried it with another arranger. Don't feel I need one.

Took my BK-7 on a gig with my midi accordion for the first time yesterday at a Farmers Market in Dublin.
Myself and Denis my Sax player played a mixture of some French musette waltzes ,bossa novas, tangos, light jazz and even Acker Bilk's Stranger on the shore with strings on the RH.

I used LH for styles/backing and live reeds with no electronic sounds on RH for most of the gig.
I was very pleased, as the gig went very well. The audience/shoppers were the sort of people who like this type of music, "organic this and free range that".
I'm definitly sticking with the BK7 for some time to come
