Anyone know the steps in loading extra single patterns (styles) ?

easy way

Plug in A4 to your computer
browse the A4 folders to the USER styles
put styles in any of the categories

if you want you can empty out what's in user as it's already in the Audya memory

so maybe delete all styles in FOLK user and put yours in there.

when hooking the A4 to puter, do I use one of the USB ports on the front of the unit?

the connector in front of A4 is same as computer
you would not even have that cable for sure

when connecting A4 to computer use ONLY and ALWAYS the square USB on back of A4

I thought they could be transferred via memory stick. I guess that thought would naturally follow since the upgrade pen went into one of the front usb holes. Funny how none of this is clear from the owners manual huh?

perhaps they can be transferred from USB Pen to HD,

no, apparently not. I have them on a stick but when I insert it in either front usb holes the A4 does not recognize that anything is there. I'm not even sure if they would work since they might have been from a much earlier model Ketron product. Just thought it would be neat to have a couple that are suppose to sound like Johnny Cash backings. Not a big deal however since the A4 comes equiped with so many neat factory styles :-)

when you put in the Pen, USB, press the DISK button on your Audya,

you should see the drive letter there
choose that drive letter,
and choose , scroll through your files with rotary wheel, or up/down
