I was at Costco in Bolingbrook, Illinois, and was surprised to see a guy selling Yamaha pianos, acoustic and digital as well as the CVP-509 and Modus H11.

The CVP-509 had an amazing piano sound. It sounded as good or better than the $10,000 baby grand next to it.

I didn't have time to play it for long, but I was missing the pitch bend wheel on the CVP-509 when I was playing the S.A. Single Coil Guitar.

Surprised to see this stuff at Costco.

I've owned the CVP-509 for over a year now. Using it to teach lessons - and thoroughly enjoying its Tyros 3 characteristics. I really miss the mod wheel too, and the SA2 buttons, but the pedals replace those controllers and are assignable. And very useable. But having to use a pedal instead of a wheel is quite different. All in all it's a fabulous instrument and even after a year, I'm still in awe.
