Nigel, sent you photos of the two Guilds, the Super Champ and the Super Reverb yesterday.

Please look for them. I've tried to email you before and somehow, something blocked the transmission, or you're so popular, YOU DON'T HAVE TIME TO CHECK ALL THE MESSAGES (lol)!

Please check the photos and let me know...

Russ,

Are you referring to FENDER Super Champ and Super Reverb, vintage reissue amps?

No Larry, I'm talking about original ones.

The neatest one I have is a vintage 59 Fender Bassman, and a cherry 59 Strat. I bought them new in 59, played them for about 6 months and switched to a Guild Starfire and two of the newer style Blond Bassman with separate reverb ( The old 59 was open back with 10's- the grandfather of the Super Reverb- as did lots of folks in Southern California in those days).

Got some old Flip-top Ampegs too...and a stereo Gibson (62, I believe)...Standells...lots of "noisemakers".

One of these day Russ I really am gonna have to visit the East Coast just to look at your collection ... it really sounds totally awesome ... guitarist heaven !!!! What a museum you have built over the years.

It really is a wonderful thing to be preserving electric guita history. It sure deserves someone as appreciative as you to be watching out for it.
