Done already:
- Tyros 2
- Canon A710
- iMac G5 with all possible DAWs
- two hands
- one head (and smth. more:)
Needed:
- to record video demo (for youtube) using ready midi or real playing.

One way is:
First, I can record midi to audio inside Tyros then transfer to Mac and convert into wav. file.
Second, play audio by Mac and try to play by phonogram and record video by Canon.
But I'm not at TV - may be smb. knows the more easy way to do this?
Video quality is not the matter - the sound quality is.

Thanks beforehand and sorry for my English:)

I simply set my Zoom Q3 on it's little tripod and play. The Q3 has the best sound and video for around $200, and now available in HD video. It is in MOV4 format ready for youtube.

Hi Bernie
I just saw your mail to the forum from last August about the Q3 and wonder if you have used it enough to answer a simple question I have about it.
I have just bought the Q3HD and am getting to know it slowly by use and trial and error.
A basic question before I proceed further is about the SD card and what capacity you are using e.g. the Q3HD comes with a 2GB card which is "for testing purposes only". At the moment, I am still using it for trialling but I am about to purchase a much larger capacity SD card. I wonder what capacity you are using?
Do you use it for gigging? I am considering getting an 8GB card.
I know it depends on what quality recording you use. I am a home hobbbyist but am considering making a CD Quality video.
cheers
Eddie

Hi Eddie

I bought an 8GB card just in case I needed it, but 40 hrs is rather ridiculous, as I upload my video after each gig to a 2T external drive for storage.

My wife handles the Q3 and records chosen segments only, so I didn't need to buy a larger card. OTOH, the cards are cheap, so go for it.
