I contact Taike and Chas on a regular basis. Taike is still in Taiwan teaching, but will be able to go home to see his great little family, including my adopted grandson, "daDude" in January.

Chas is hard at work donating time and assets to charities, including the New Orleans Habitat project for musicians and overseas sufferers of floods and other disasters.

I know they're banned from here, but, in my mind, they are people of real substance. I care about them and thought a few others would appreciate an update.

Because of Chas' work and in honor of all here, this Christmas, I'm going to donate an amount equal to more than $1.00 for each Synthzone member to a worthy music related charity and identify it as being in honor of our association and common musical bond. The Habitat project in New Orleans is the leading contender right now.

Let's all pledge to be kind to each other in 2012.

Taike has never been banned.

Chas took a look at this post and asked me to relay his best wishes for a productive, enjoyable 2012.

Taike is counting the days until he can see his family. Little guy is getting a huge kits that is so efficiently designed that it will fly indoors....lots of fun for dad and "dude"!
