Looking at the Wersi forums, it seems like the James Last Pack is to be showcased from the 12th – 16th December at Music Store.

All sound pack options normally come at the same time as instrument updates, so it looks like the next updates for OAS will be in December. (It’s possible that other sound packs will be released as well)

The price for the James Last pack on the Pegasus Wing is at €149, OAS7 instrument prices are not confirmed, but will probably be more expensive due to their greater capabilities and thus a more comprehensive sound pack.

Keep an eye out on the Music Store Website (And also the Wersi website) for posts on the updates.

It looks like it’s going to be a nice Christmas for Wersi OAS owners.

Is it worth it?
Well if you already have the OAA and Drums 2007, (Standard on new instruments for a number of years) like James Last and his sound then yes it probably is worth it, as there is no other manufacture that produces James Last sounds as close to the real deal as those included in the Wersi James Last Pack. (As Wersi (Music Store) is German, and James Last is a German band leader, then it is probably no surprise that they got it right)

NOTE: If you’re not interested in the styles, (IE: You don’t have the OAA) then you can still use everything else that the JL Pack provides
