In 1973, Andy Williams was appearing at the Frankfort Convention Center, right across a parking lot from "The Cave" and upscale restaurant I was working.
After set-up, he came to dinner and sat next to the trio. We played a few of his hits (the obvious; Moon River and others).
He told me if I ever needed a job to call him (probably just being nice).
Same thing happened on a dinner job in Louisville where Brenda Lee visited in 1968 (really small woman).
Both were gracious and now a real part of American music history.
Good find, again, Bill!
