I want to improve the video content of my website. I just purchased a used Zoom Q3HD and a used Kodak Zi6.

The videos up on my website are clips of me performing being recorded by a Zoom Q3 on a tripod. The videos rarely show audience interaction.

The two used video cameras I just got record in Quicktime .mov format.

I would like to get some SIMPLE video editing software that would help me line up the two videos and then let me choose which images I want in the final video while letting me use the Zoom Q3HD as the audio source.

I would like for the software to accept Quicktime as I don't want to have to convert every video I take.

Any help would be most appreciated!

I have Cyberlink Powerdirector, and I cannot make heads or tails out of it.

I'll consider the Corel software. Does anyone know of anything else that has less capability but even a moron can use to paste different clips into one video?

Does Corel work with Quicktime format?

We produce industrial video. A while back, we tried to develop a broadcast quality means of producing very inexpensive video for non-profits.

We use a $99.00 software package from Adobe called "Premier". there is a slightly more expensive version called Premier Elements.

Also, the 10 minute piece of me on guitar I posted last January was edited on this equipment. Recorder on both projects was a Zoom H-2.

Except for reading QuickTime files, Windows Movie Maker will do all that you want, so just get yourself a free video convertor and convert them to another format that WMM will accept.

I used WMM once to put a slide show together, and it was very easy to use.

If I make a high def quicktime movie, does it take a long time to convert it? Would image quality be lost?

Another question is, is it hard to line up the timing of two videos to edit into one? Is lining up the timing easier with one software more than another?
