Welcome to the forum
It is much easier to set up your controller/computer not to send on the Midi channel that you wish to mute.
Hope this helps

Bill

Hi Bill thanx for your reply, i need to use all 16 midi channels, i use chan 14 to control lights and effects patches, chan 5 for an M1, chan 9 for guitar patches, so i need to mute these channels on the ketron so that it intergrates to my setup...not an easy feat, nothing on any ketron websites either.

Ask rikkibears on this forum -- directly. She has quite a bit of experience now with MIDI controls and the SD2.

Also, on the PGMUSIC "Band in a Box" forum, there are 2 or 3 SD2 users, at least one of which is an expert at all things MIDI.

I have the SD2 but I am particularly stupid when it comes to MIDI.
