That's as bad as shooting sitting ducks frown

Why not just go trap shooting.....

If you are really hunters..go on foot thru rough terrain...with a pistol...and hunt grizzly.. grin

Dad was from LLanidloes Eddie, even more breath-taking

Frans obviously not been on a Pheashant shoot, sitting ducks my arse, they were doing 80mph with the wind yesterday. Just as a matter of interest, we were shooting in a small valley yesterday and right in front of use two helicopters dropped of some SAS troops, they have to find their way back to base, 70 miles away, with no money or bus pass, perhaps hold up an old lady at knife point and take her car. shocked

Interesting, Tony,...you are also in to 'shoots'!
That is regarded as a privileged sport in our area...of course although we are all made equal, some are more equal than others cool

As for Fran and Ian, forgive them , they are "macho" guys from across the pond and we brits are more civilised smile

Late 80's when I was about 20 years old, I called a Scottish man "English", as in "...and what do you as an Englishman, think of XXX"

This was before Braveheart and I don't think that many 20 year olds in Greece were aware that England, Scotland and Wales are "different" things... You live in "England" (the island) you are "English", that was the extent of our knowledge. laugh

I still remember the horror and anger on his face. "I AM SCOTTISH, NOT ENGLISH"... in which in my naivete I replied "Errrr, isn't it the same thing?"...BOOM!!!

Trident, thanks for the clarification.
Though I was aware that England, Scotland, and Northern Ireland are seperate Countries of the United Kingdom,
I mistakenly thought Wales is a western region of England. Oops. blush
I think the confusion for some of us, esp Americans, is that the U.S.A consists of 50 "States",
while the United Kingdom consists of 4 seperate "Countries": England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, and Wales.
To further add to the confusion, the entire United Kingdom is considered one soveriegn State.
