Jonny

Don't know how he does that in those tight trousers, I don't think he ever changes them.

Thanks GJ--love the video, and obviously, Peter's having more fun than anyone can imagine, which is readily seen on the video as well.

Thanks again,

Gary cool

I always like seeing Peter play. He makes it look so easy. And she does have an excellent voice.

Peter has fantastic technique, but he doesn't let it get in the way of his playing...his music is right from the heart.

A friend of mine bought an Avant Grand N3 this past fall...a lovely instrument to play, and you actually forget it's a digital because of the terrific feedback in the keys.

Great video Donny.

Ian

PS...As far as I know Michele is still with Yamaha.

yeah Donny,
I gotta admit the experience of being there watching Peter perform LIVE & personal was even better,
as that was actually 'me' behind the camera shooting that video clip. smile
As I recall, that was Michele's very first trip (2009) to California & Namm.
I remember the first day he dressed formal, but by the last day of the show,
he finally loosened up to become more laid back like we West Coasties are known for. - Scott smile

So, it was you behind the camera, Scott?

Nice job!

Those videos are from the Yamaha Christmas concert that Peter Baartmans and Michel Voncken do for a few years now in Holland. These concerts are organized together with a music store. I attended it in 2010 and last Christmas 2011, and on both occasions it was very entertaining evening. This time the singer was a surprise guest. Her name is Susan Albers and she is from Germany. A few days before the concert she and her band won a prestigious pop award in Germany.

Susan also accompanied herself on the Clavinova piano and did covers from Stevie Wonder, Leonard Cohen, Sade, gospel, rock, as well as a few of her own songs. Here's a link to a video of the band doing one of those songs: Susan Albers "Big Shot"

Peter and Michel had a lot of fun performing a wide range of music, both solo and together before a very enthusiastic audience. Michel and Peter played the Tyros 4 and Peter also the CVP509. After a few encores the concert lasted for almost 3 hours.
