Hi Guys

We had a gig this afternoon first one with the Micro and I must say I was well pleased. I was or in fact I did, record the whole Gig on my zoom and would you believe it at the end some fool switched of the mains before I had a chance to save the file.

As a consolation I came home and recorded this number originally by Gordon Lightfoot called Sundowner.

Hope you like it to my old ears the Micro sound pretty good in partcular the bass.

When I get a bit more time I will post some more examples.

For the benefit of Scott I am using a Shure WH20 and a Harmony M.

I just used the Micro I don't find the keys to be any problem ,in fact, this is going to raise some comments I think its easier to play than my Pa2x. I think the Pa may be on its way. Save me having another Hernia operation.

Exactly how did you connect up your mic & Harmony M to the Korg microArranger?
Did you utilize an external mixer or in-line volume booster too,
or simply plug your Shure WH20 into the Harmony M and then
the Harmony M audio outs into the 'fixed level' stereo line-in 1/8" mini jack on your microArranger?
Do you feel the Harmony M provides sufficient volume gain adjustment to enable further increasing the
vocal volume/ vs auto accomp and/or live playing heard thru the microArranger?

I have replied to your message.

The set up is as follows:

Mixer Alesis mutimix 8

Mic Shure wh20

Harmony M

MicroArranger

The mic is plugged into Mic input one on the mixer
a feed using auxilary output B (Post Fader) TRS lead to the mic input on the Harmony M. The trim pots are at 3 oclock.

The output from the Harmony M is plugged into a stereo input on the mixer.

The MicroArranger is plugged into a second stereo input on the mixer

The other advantage is my oppo (Guitar) plugs his mic into input 2 thus enabling both of us to use the Harmony M. The only thing is I can,t sing harmony if he is singing lead and vice-versa it confuses the harmonizer. So we rely on the harmonizer for all our harmonies.
