Fran,
Have you tried out playing all of the Micro via your G70 ?
If so it would be instructive to learn which Midi settings you have
to use on the Roland, as you know I have sorted things out ( I hope)
for those owing a Yamaha Tyros/PSR.
regards,
John
John , Yes I have used the G70 to control the MicroArranger...I match the Midi in control, located in Global settings to match the midi channel I want the G70 to send note on info as well as program change for sounds...I prefer to select the styles directly from the Micro Arranger...for an accurate display of styles...and this avoids start/stop/sync adjustments that would be needed..The chord recognition range is set on the G70..
As an example my upper 1 on the G70 (full piano mode) is on channel 4...so I set the Midi 1 Control to channel 4...and it is done....I can play the chord recognition from the G70, and select the tone (program on Korg), I want to play live..
All selections of styles and the control of variations, fills, intros and endings are selected from the Korg, to avoid conflict with the G70 arranger settings...(I do not want to alter the settings in the G70).
It is relatively easy to set up a basic communication between the Korg and another keyboard as the controller..
