Donny, the PA1x is the heaviest, bulkiest kb I EVER had - you'll nave carry it more than one or two times. Careful, bud!

Dave looks like Pa1x is 48lbs ....the other Pa800 29 lbs which I owned already...
But for the right deal I'll be ok ....the features are what I need at this time..

PS I gigged with a PSR9000 49 lbs, and my old G70 was 45 lbs.. I'll drink more vitamin water lol

Yikes - I'll never carry that kind of weight around again - and it's DEEP. This 3x is fast becoming my favorite board of all time. I might just sit it atop my coveted Rhodes Suitcase!

Gee, that's 3 lbs more than Fran's G-70, and that's not counting a road case.

PS...it's only 39 lbs heavier than the microArranger...not bad.

On my G70 the length was more of a problem then the weight too cumbersome to transport as I usually never carry any of my gear...it's all loaded on a Rock n Roller and off I go..
enough about weight issues with you seniors lol.. .....

Careful, I bought a PA800 a few years back on your advice, I liked it enough to keep it and when the Pa2xPro was released I bought that and played the Korg for just under 2 years. Korg makes a great board, some nights when I was practicing with a set of Bose headphones on I'd sometimes have to turn around to make sure there really wasn't a drummer in the room with me After about 18 months I missed the Yamaha sound and OS enough to get an s910. I eventually bought a Tyros4, I'm happy with it.

Do I miss the Korg? Yea at times I do and if I had to rate it on a scale of 100 for my use ( and I mean my use only no one else's ) I'd rate it a 90 and the Tyros 4 comes in at about 95. Been down that road, you know there's no perfect arranger just the one that suits you best. All I'm saying is give it some thought, but if your convinced go for it and enjoy!
