My wife and I both were pulling our hair out, particularly when a game-winning touchdown pass was dropped in the end zone. I wanted to toss a bottle through the screen of our new TV when the field goal was missed by a mile--just couldn't believe what I was seeing.

The Ravens quarterback played an excellent game, but there were some dumb-ass calls made from the sidelines by Cam Cameron our offensive coordinator. This is just a guess on my part, but I'll almost bet that Ray Louis and Reed retire in the next few months. They both got busted up pretty good this year, and they'll both be inducted into the Hall Of Fame for sure.

Oh well, another season under our belts and no trip to the Super Bowl.

Almost forgot: Steven Tyler singing the National Anthem was almost as bad as Rosanne Barr.

Yep, I think it'll make for a good game in the final - Brady/Manning, hmmm. I can't call this one. I'd rather it had the East/West component, though.

You know what was supremely dumb about the coverage up here? The Canadian TV channel cut away from CBS at the final whistle of regulation time, so we didn't get the OT quarter. I nearly joined Gary in hurling a solid object at the TV when that happened. So I had to scramble for a SF sports radio station on the computer. By then it was just about five minutes left.

I just amended my previous post. Seems CTV didn't cut away from the game at the end of the fourth quarter - we lost satellite briefly at the crucial moment. Anyway, it was enough for me to switch off the TV and head for the computer. Shoulda stuck with the TV, I guess. It still didn't improve the score, though. :(:(

OH, and lets not forget the J-E-T-S ... so PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE root for the pats as you probably did in the SB in 2008 and earlier this year in a regular season game (BOTH of which were won by the NEW YORK FOOTBALL GIANTS!!!

BTW...hate the Giaints...but I have a new found respect for Eli Manning, a tough QB for sure. And I agree, Vick spent two years in jail, and seems to have been rehabilitated. America believes in second chances

Correct--He did his time and everyone deserves a second chance. My feeling is he did unspeakably horrible acts over and over, not just a stupid mistake once (RE: Plaxico Burress) , and most of it was covered up from the public and a deal made so he could play ball again. My real pet peeve is why felons are allowed in the NFL or any professional sport where kids are so influenced by them. I just wish for once the dollar didn't rule and some common decency would. Vick is not alone, but let them out of jail after they do their time and then let them go find a job. Most businesses will not hire common felons, life is very tough for them.
If it were me or you ( I was a teacher ) do you think they would let me back in a school or give you your position back?

NY Yankees......Dodgers moved to LA... Yankees are my hometown team always dad always took us to the stadium..

Growing up hated the Titans/Giants.. LOVED the JETS...
Moved south to the Jersey Shore ...NJ has NO teams so fell in love with the EAGLES as this is eagle country here..

Phillie's Jets run a close second..

Always thought most Dodger fans became Met fans after they moved to LA. Guess it's not true those Brooklyn kids hated the Yanks.
