What a game. Baltimore played an excellent game, but the look of disbelief when that last attempted field goal was missed!! OUCH.

Come on NYG see you at the Super Bowl.

Go Pats!

My wife and I both were pulling our hair out, particularly when a game-winning touchdown pass was dropped in the end zone. I wanted to toss a bottle through the screen of our new TV when the field goal was missed by a mile--just couldn't believe what I was seeing.

The Ravens quarterback played an excellent game, but there were some dumb-ass calls made from the sidelines by Cam Cameron our offensive coordinator. This is just a guess on my part, but I'll almost bet that Ray Louis and Reed retire in the next few months. They both got busted up pretty good this year, and they'll both be inducted into the Hall Of Fame for sure.

Oh well, another season under our belts and no trip to the Super Bowl.

Almost forgot: Steven Tyler singing the National Anthem was almost as bad as Rosanne Barr.

Gary cool

I feel so bad for the kicker. He has to live with that for a long time.

Tyler wouldn't have gotten past the first audition on AI with that. Brutal.

The girl at the Giants/SF game sure can sing. Kristen Chenoweth. She just nailed the anthem.

The worst part was SF narrowly losing the game. frown

hi 124, ditto on both counts.
It was so close, and going into overtime too.
It's raining harder here now in SF tonight. frown
That said, congrats to both the New England Patriots and NY Giants
for making it to Superbowl XLVI in Indianapolis on Feb 5th. smile

Did you go to the game, Scott?

Yep, I think it'll make for a good game in the final - Brady/Manning, hmmm. I can't call this one. I'd rather it had the East/West component, though.

You know what was supremely dumb about the coverage up here? The Canadian TV channel cut away from CBS at the final whistle of regulation time, so we didn't get the OT quarter. I nearly joined Gary in hurling a solid object at the TV when that happened. So I had to scramble for a SF sports radio station on the computer. By then it was just about five minutes left.

Stay dry, Scott. Cheers, 124.
