AJ... Is there an Audya arranger/sound module without a keyboard in the works? Will Ketron follow the same pattern as with the XD and SD series (XD3 and SD3) and release a similar Audya unit without the keyboard? Any time expectation? The demo sounds from MusicMesse are awesome.

Another big question about Audya could be:
When will this baby be ready for customers to buy, and how will the
sales (or maybe the release date) be influenced by the world wide
economic/finansial crisis?
Just wondering, because the new Ketron flagship is already predicted
to be in the very high price level, maybe the highest we ever seen for
arranger keyboards.

Cheers

Well it wont be really the highest taking into
consideration the 15-25000$ Wersi arrangers or
T3 which will be close to AUDYA.

Wersi was honesty not in my mind just because it's for
me more in the big organ category rather than arranger
keyboard. But yes, also the Wersi Abacus and Ikaros are
in that high end. (Sorry to say we have to leave this
country to try out any of those)
Regarding Tyros 3 who just are coming in to the shops
here, it's about 40% lower priced than the predicted
or forecasted price of Audya!!
Audya 50.000 N.Kr, Tyros 3 just slightly under 30.000,
and that's even lower priced than the Ketron SD1.
Anyway, time will tell.

happy playing

Such a shame - that would be a module to die for!
I would buy it without asking the price.

Nedim,
The anticipated US price for the Audya is around $5500.00 and the price for the T3 is under $4000.00. That's a pretty big difference!

Really? I would rather stay alive, at least until we (if ever) get the
chance to try out Audya.

Curious thing ... I wrote to Ketron It. to inquire about the possibility of an Audya module ... I haven't received an answer yet.
Ciao,
Jerry

Some time ago when I needed help to solve a problem with SD1,
Ketron staff gave great service and replied very fast.
They even enclosed a "fix file" to make it easy to do.

That said, I really think Ketron should place a note at the
website about when we can start look for the new "baby", and
also place a in depht demo for us to watch.
Guess they have to make the Audya ready and available before
know what to put into any module of it.

Cheers

Jerry, do you really think that they would
reply to a single requirement of an Audya module?
or give you heads up at all? As i know of it wont
be happening...unless somethings change.
And we are too fast, lets wait for Audya first,
at least another month or two.

but i personally dont think Audya will pass 5.
Its still a guessed and assumed price.
I had some Inside info...we'll see.

if Audya will be $5,500 (which i think is stupid expensive)

then the Audya Module (if it ever is released) will probably be $5,000

i really think the Audya ahould be same price as G-70, T3, under $4,000

if Audya is more than $4k, i WILL NOT BUY.
i will keep my G-70 and Ketron XD3

Jerry T.

There are no current plans for an Audya module.

Let's get done with the keyboard first, then we'll see which other units we can derive from this.

leezone,
We are aware there are some that will purchase another keyboard and then when AUDYA comes out, trade that in for the AUDYA after trying it out. On the other side, there are those who will purchase an AUDYA and then later trade in for something else - or may not purchase one at all.

Everyone has their own likings and dislikings in the different manufacturer's keyboards and we are aware of this. Again, not every keyboard is for everyone.

Thanks,

AJ
