I haven't heard anything about it, Larry...it may be still before some committee, or it may have had bugs that needed to be worked out...who knows?

All Vocal Harmony units sound awful, they all sound very artificial. But ----- they do add if they are not overused.

Here’s 2 good reasons for using a good VH.

1-I am a senior with a Sinatra type of voice and thanks to the VH I am able to sing some of today’s music.
2-On a 2 or 3 hour job it does take away from the boredom of hearing the same type of voice all night.

I had the top-of-the-line Digitech; Yamaha Tyros3 , and the TC Helicon Touch Live; I find the TC Helicon VH to be the best -- That is what is in my Korg Pa800.

And yes, the Korg rep really knows how to demo the unit; isn’t that what we want to hear??

Hang on Donny did he sing " I just killed a dog " stop

It's a man not a dog, or do I need to go and see the dentist??? laugh

Lyrics below:

I just killed a man, confused
Put a gun against his head, pulled my trigger
now he's dead
Mama... life had just begun,
But now I've gone and thrown it all away
Mamaaaaa oooh,
Didn't mean to make you cry,
If I'm not back again this time tomorrow,
Carry on, carry on as if nothing really matters

Tony the Queen!!! heeeee surprised

PS Donny what was the "WOW" for, I think you liked it! grin

Right on, John! The secret is in how it is used, and how often.

I haven't heard a Vocal Harmony unit yet that I like...even the Helicon units sound artificial to my ears.

I still think studio use is where it shines..."live" not so much, although sometimes doubling and delay can add a nice alternate sound to the performer's voice.

I don't believe he was a Korg rep, but rather a TC Helicon rep which happens to be part of the Korg PA

For original video of the filipino guy singing Queen, he was using pa 500 (not PA 800) and using Korg IH ( Interactive VH machine).
