up on Ketron Italy site are AUDYA demos, styles and sounds

i will honestly say that they did not impress me much...

to me they are not leaps and bounds above the SD5,
the salsa, as an example, i prefer the SD5's

don't think the "improvement" justifies the huge price difference between SD5/AUDYA

maybe i'm picky and demanding...

have a listen guys and let me know what you think....

Lee,

I can't agree on this one buddy.

Those demos sound superb. The guitar and drums sound absolutely real. You may not like the style arrangement, but the voices are simply impressive.

kbrkr,

way better than the current SD5?
to justify it costing 2x the price of SD5?

style arrangements are just as important as the sounds,
you goota have both for the ULTIMATE arranger

What’s the fuss; these demos have been up there for a good 6 – 8 months now.

Just do a search on SZ for general comments about them.

Bill

Well, price is a different matter. I wouldn't pay an extra $2000 just to have those voices in my styles. I'd have to really consider the whole package. In listening to the SD5, I do think the Audya soiunds much better. I also think the Audya sound better than most AK on the market right now.

My only concern is whether or not you can change drum kits for those live styles?? On the Pa2xpro, I can change the SNARE in a style if I want, can that be done on the Audya, or do you have to change the entire drum kit? And I'm talking about the REAL drum samples, not the regular Ketron drum kits.
